Pointe a Pitre is the second largest city on the island of Guadeloupe, an overseas region of France located in the Caribbean. Due to its convenient location between Guadeloupe’s two biggest islands, it has effectively become the capital. The Pointe a Pitre ferry port on the south coast of the island, located right next to Aeroport de Pointe-a-Pitre Le Raizet. The port is easily accessible by public transport, with regular buses like A41, A98, B10, B20 and B21 all stopping directly outside the ferry terminal.
