Leverburgh Guide

Leverburgh Ferry Port

Leverburgh is the second largest village on the Isle of Harris, situated on the island’s southern tip. Due to its proximity, the port provides frequent crossings to the Isle of Berneray each week, usually lasting just over an hour. The ferry terminal is an unattended slipway, so tickets should be purchased on board. The terminal building itself houses a large waiting room and toilet facilities. If driving from the main town of Tarbert, follow the A859 southbound for 20 miles and turn right on Pier Road, just after Loch Steisebhat. Free parking can be found about 10 metres from the terminal, close to the bus stop.
