Dipolog Port is located to the north east of the Philippine island of Mindanao; to the north of the city is the Sulu Sea which runs through some of the islands belonging to the Philippines. Four companies operate through Dipolog Port, though Ocean Fast Ferries provide the quickest crossings on all ferry routes. The sailing to Dumageute takes around two hours on Ocean Fast Ferries, whereas it’s roughly twice as long with other companies. There are also ferry routes to Cebu every Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday; each one departing in the evening. Dipolog Port has no wharf of its own and relies on the port of Pulawan in Dapitan City which is approximately 9km from the city centre of Dipolog.
