Port Denarua is on a small private island in the northwest corner of Fiji’s mainland, Viti Levu. It is the main gateway to some of the beautiful islets along the northwest coast and is just twenty minutes from Nadi International Airport by car. It is considered the island’s finest marina facility, offering restaurants, a spa, a large supermarket and a wide selection of shops. You can also book tours and activities inside the terminal. There are a number of luxurious hotels on Denarau Island where you can relax overnight before your journey as well.
Botaira Beach Resort Port is found on the south west coast of Naviti Island, one of the many islands which comprise the Yasawa Island group laying to the west of Fiji. The Yasawa Island is known for its stunning landscapes, beautiful beaches and scorching sun, creating an idyllic experience for visitors. For an easy crossing to mainland Fiji, Awesome Adventures Fiji offer a ferry route across the South Pacific Ocean from Botaira Beach Resort Port to Denarau Port. The sailing usually lasts around three hours, departing in the mid afternoon from Botaira Beach Resort Port. Awesome Adventures Fiji occasionally use the vessels of their sister company, South Sea Cruises, should the ferry route be in high demand. The times of the crossing can vary from season to season, depending on the weather and the sea conditions, so it may be wise to check for live updates.
